Reliance Trends Presents Neeta Lulla – Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort Spring/Summer Collection 2013

Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort was held from March 12 to March 16. In this Gala Festival 98 designers showcased their latest Spring/Summer Collection.

We were amongst the lucky ones who got an opportunity to attend the unveiling of Neeta Lulla’s  S/S collection presented by Reliance Trends. We can’t thank Reliance Trends enough for considering us to represent them as an official Fashion Blogger for the LFW.
Neeta Lulla is one of the ace designers of the country and she flaunted her beautiful creations on Day 05 of the LFW.

The show started and we witnessed the ethereal collection by Neeta Lulla. The color palette had a wide range of colors. It started with the browns and slowly permeated to purples, blues, and yellows. Neon being a popular hue this season was not missed by this designer.
I loved her collection because it was quite wearable. It was classy, chic & comfortable at the same time. She had seamlessly blended the clothes to form Indo-Western attires. We could see sheer jackets with churidars, crop tops with sarees, tunics with side slit palazzos, kaftans, jumpsuits. The combination of beige with pop colors was the USP for me. The beautiful ensembles were intricately designed using badla work which wasn’t flashy yet provided royalty to the garments. She had accessorized the creations with beautiful waist belts and simple stone studded jewels, again keeping the indo-western theme in mind.

The show stopper was Priyanka Chopra who walked the ramp with oodles of confidence and style wearing an off-white Kaftan with knee length side slits. Her gait clearly showed how comfortable she was in her clothes. This definitely was one of my favorite silhouettes from the collection.

Neeta says that she had used bright monochromes with their tints inspired from the rain forest. The collection was inspired by Aztec motifs with Indian Badla work.

Neeta Lulla’s minimalistic style was definitely a treat to the eyes. The edginess of the creations screamed style and were class apart.

Her collection was made keeping in mind the latest S/S collection in Reliance Trends. Their latest collection is easy breezy and apt for the upcoming weather. They have Aztecs, monochromes, indo-western clothes at a very affordable price to bring out the true diva in you.

(Lastly here are a few images I have taken from the LFW facebook page so that you get a clearer picture of the collection. We don’t own the below Three pics.)
