Denim is a firm favourite on the fashion scene, and the denim shirt is a timeless classic. It’s a popular look and if you know how to dress up denim shirts you’ll be sorted for nearly all occasions!

The denim shirtdress combines – get this – denim, with the ease of a basic shirtdress. The style is much cooler than wearing jeans during the hottest days of the year, but still casual enough for running around. I’m very fond of button down shirts so it makes sense that my choice of denim dress is a shirt dress. Shirt dresses are usually tailored and belted at the waist and I wear those styles too. Of course, this look can be dressed up with the right accessories. Try to contrast the sturdy work fabric with pretty jewelry. Pair it with flats and a summer hat for a on-the-go look. Or, you could even rock a denim shirtdress with booties and an oversize handbag.
